Ne ébressz fel!/Do not wake me up

Tegnap nem jelentkeztem, nagyon sűrű nap volt. A már mondhatni szokásos reggeli 3.5 km-s sétával indult a nap, megérkezve az egyetemre pedig ismét előadások sorozata várt. Ezúttal a másik egyetemen jártunk (ugyanis kettő is van Rovaniemiben), mert összevont orientation day volt az ottani Erasmus hallgatókkal. Teljesen véletlen találkoztam egy magyar lánnyal is. Bár reméltem, hogy nem lesz más magyar, azért néha jól esik magyarul is beszélni. Délelőtt ismét rengeteg információt zúdítottak ránk, többek között arról, hogyan nyithatunk bankszámlát, mit nézzünk meg amíg itt vagyunk, bemutatkozott az ESN Lapland is, és megtudtuk milyen programok várnak ránk a félévben. Már korábban kinéztem a szentpétervári utazást, ami egy 5 napos út, komppal közlekedve. Továbbá lesz egy nagy 2 napos Stockholmi hajóbuli is. Megtudhattuk, hogy létezik egy program - Finnish Friends - aminek az a lényege, hogy kapunk egy finn barátot, és mindenfélét csinálhatunk együtt, megismerhetjük a másik kultúráját stb.

Délután ismét nyakunkba vettük a várost, és megnéztük mi hol van, jártunk a vasútállomáson, a buszpályaudvaron, a város központban, a folyó parton, és még néhány helyen.

A szervezett program után néhányan ismét tettünk egy kört, hátha sikerül beszerezni egy biciklit. Jelentem, sikerült 😁 Természetesen nem életem biciklije, és nyilvánvalóan pink (a legkevésbé szeretett szín, hogy fnoman fogalmazzak), de erre a néhány hónapra tökéletes. Szóval most már várhatjátok mikor töröm össze magam, ha megérkezik a hó 😂 Egyedül indultam haza, ami nem volt zökkenőmentes, ugyanis szörnyen tájékozódom, így nagyjából 15 percbe telt mire megtaláltam a megfelelő utat :D

Este pedig elmentünk az első buliba. Fent az erdőben a 'TOWER'-nél grilleztünk, sütögettünk, és beszélgettünk, ismerkedtünk. Itt is mindkét egyetemről voltak cserediákok, illetve a tutor diákjaink is részt vettek. Fantasztikus este volt, rengeteget nevettünk, tanultam egy kicsit hollandul, egyetlen mondatot tudok, de majd a finn mellett erre is szakítok időt :D A hazajövet kalandos volt, vaksötétben a sziklás erdőben, de végül senki nem törte össze magát.

Ma délelőtt egy Amazing Race nevű eseményt szervezett nekünk az ESN Lapland. 6 fős csapatokban kellett 6 helyszínt megtalálnunk az egyetemen, és teljesíteni a feladatokat. Volt ahol énekelni kellett (igen, énekeltem...), azt nem mondom, hogy megtanultuk, de megpróbáltunk elénekelni egy finn szauna dalt, megismertük a sitsit játék szabályait, és kipróbálhattunk egy finn sportot, vagy mit, amint a videón láthatjátok elég őrült dolog:

Természetesen csapatnevet is kellett adni, mi voltunk a Mikulás rénszarvasai. Bár néhány állomásnál sokat kellett várnunk, nagyon élveztem, és ismét megismerhettem néhány új embert.

Hazafele sétálva gyönyörködtem a városban, és azon gondolkoztam, hogy ebből az álomból soha nem akarok felébredni, szóval ne ébresszen fel senki 💤

There was no post yesterday since I had a really busy day. It started with the usual 3.5 kms long morning walk, some presentations were held after we arrived to the university. This time we had to go to the other university (there are two unis in Rovaniemi) because this orientation day was held for both university's exchange students. I accidentally met a Hungarian girl from the other uni. I was hoping that there will not be other Hungarians although it felt good to speak Hungarian a little bit. In the morning session we heard tons of information about how to open a bank account, what to see in the neighborhood, ESN Lapland also introduced themselves and also talked about the programs in the semester. They talked about the St. Petersburg trip which I found earlier, it's a 5 day trip with ferry. There will be another trip, it's a party boat trip to Stockholm that I am really interested in. There was a presentation about Finnish Friends program which means we will get a Finnish person hopefully we are going to be friends and can make lot of programs together to know each other and each other's culture and so on.

We went for a big walk again in the afternoon to know the city we were at the train station, at the bus station, in the city centre, at the river etc.

Some of us tried to get a bicycle again after the guided tour. I made it successfully 😁 It's not the best bike in my life and it's pink of course (the colour I like the least) but it works and that's enough for this few months. So you can now wait for my first fall when the snow comes 😂

I tried to get home alone which was funny because I am really terrible to find out on which way should I go so I was just standing there for like 15 minutes and tried to figure out where is the right way to get home.

There was the first party in the evening yesterday. There is the 'TOWER' in the forest where we went up, grilled something to eat, talked to each other, met new people and had a great time. It was really a great night I also learnt something in Dutch, I only know one sentence but I think I'm gonna learn new ones if I hang out even more with the Belgians. Coming home was adventurous since it was totally dark and the forest is full of rocks but as far as I know everyone survived it.

An event called Amazing Race was organized by ESN Lapland today. There were six people in a team, had to find 6 check points at the university and do the tasks successfully. There were stations where we had to sing (yes, I sang...), I can't say that we learnt but tried to sing a Finnish sauna song, we also knew the rules of sitsit game, we had a chance to try a Finnish sport (or something) as you can see in the video it was pretty crazy:

We had to give a group name as well we were Santa's Reindeers. Although we had to wait pretty lot at some station the race was fun and it gave me the chance to meet some new people again.

During walking home I was seeing the amazing view and thinking that I do not want to wake up from this dream ever, so please do not wake me up 💤
