Újra újra és újra / Again again and again

A pénteki Amazing Race után este volt az első buli, a Welcome Party. Mivel nem sikerült elővételben jegyet venni rá, aggódtunk, hogy nem lesz jegy, de szerencsére odaértünk nyitásra, így még kaptunk. Az ESN Lapland szervezte az eseményt aminek az volt az alapgondolata, hogy arcfesték segítségével kifejezhessük, hogy honnan jöttünk. Személy szerint nekem nagyon tetszett ez az ötlet (otthon is javasolni fogom). Természetesen a legtöbbünk arcán két zászló volt, az anyaországunkon kívül a finn zászló, hiszen most ez az otthonunk, mióta betettük ide a lábunkat egy részünk finné vált. Az enyém legalábbis biztosan, olyan hihetetlenül gyönyörű ez a hely, az emberek kedvesek, rám mosolyognak az utcán vadidegen emberek. Azt hinné az ember, hogy ilyen időben mindenki életunt és depressziós, azt hittem engem is megvisel majd ez a folyamatos eső, a naphiány és a hideg, de annyi pozitívum van, hogy itt tényleg nem lehet a rossz dolgokra gondolni. Pedig én alapvetően egy pesszimista, a rosszat meglátó emberként érkeztem ide, ám alig egy hét után ez máris megváltozott, és remélem haza is tudom majd vinni.

Na de vissza a bulihoz. A városközpontban volt egy Doris nevű szórakozóhelyen, ami az egyetemisták kedvelt helye. 2 euró volt egy sör, 2.5 euró egy cider. A hely meglepően nagy volt, és volt valami amivel még soha életemben nem találkoztam egy buliban, egy nagy "medence" tele műanyag kis labdákkal, amibe bele lehetett ugrani, és - a buli elején legalábbis - lazulni, utána már ott is táncolt mindenki. Rengetegen voltak, ismét nagyon sok mindenkivel találkoztam - főleg németekkel, belgákkal, hollandokkal -  és hatalmasat buliztunk, egészen a buli végéig maradtunk. 

Amikor haza indultunk, és elmentem a biciklimért életem talán eddigi legjobb reklámját láttam, a bicikliülésekre ráraktak egy ülésvédőt, hogy ne ázzon el az esőben. Ez olyan, amit remélem egyszer hasznosíthatok marketingesként, hogy használható reklámot készítsek, amire az emberek nem azt mondják, hogy jajj már megint egy szórólap.

A buli ismét bebizonyította nekem, hogy mennyire más itt minden. Körülbelül 10 percet kellett várnom a pultnál, mire kérni tudtam - ami teljesen normális otthon is, sőt még többet is szoktam várni - majd a pultos annyit mondott, hogy a söröm a ház ajándéka, mert sokat kellett várnom. El nem tudom képzelni, hogy otthon ilyen történjen.

A buli utáni délelőtt természetesen alvással telt, majd a lakótársammal és néhány barátjával bementünk a városba enni és inni egy isteni kávét. Itt nem telhet el nap eső nélkül - legalábbis amióta itt vagyok, ezt tapasztalom - így elkezdett esni, amíg kávéztunk, végül addig vártunk, hogy elálljon, hogy talán a legrosszabbkor jöttünk haza, teljesen eláztunk. Menetközben úgy éreztem, hogy nem működik a fék a biciklimen, de azóta egy 2700 km-ről érkező segítségnek köszönhetően kiderült, hogy csak én voltam béna 😂

A mai nap nyugisan telt, rám fért a hét után, hiszen annyi minden történt, hihetetlenül intenzív hét volt, így ma néztem egy kis sorozatot, aztán elmentem biciklizni egy kicsit egymagam, és ismét nyugtáztam, hogy hihetetlenül gyönyörű helyre költöztem. Fotót most nem csináltam a tájról, de ami késik nem múlik. Addig is hoztam néhány fotót a buliról (poszt végén).

After the Amazing Race on Friday we participated in the first party, it was the Welcome Party. We could not buy a pre-ticket, so we were worried a little bit whether we could get one at the party. We luckily managed to get there in time so we got tickets. It was an ESN Lapland party with the idea of using face painting we could tell where we are from. I really liked this idea, I will also recommend to ESN Obuda University at home. There were to flags on most of our faces of course beside our home countries we also had the Finnish flag because it is our home now since we arrived a little part of us became Finnish, at least mine for sure. 

Most people think that everyone is depressed I thought I was going to be as well in this rainy, non-sunny weather, but there are so many positive things that I cannot think of negative ones. Believe me, I arrived here as a really pessimistic person, I saw the sad in mostly everything although it has already changed in less than a week and I hope I can bring home this optimism.

Back to the party. The party took place in a club called Doris that is really liked by the university students. The beer was 2 €, cider was 2.5 €. The pub was surprisingly big and there was something I have never seen before in a club. There was a big "pool" with full of little plastic balls, you could jump into it and sitting in it - at the beginning of the party at least - later everyone was dancing there too. There were so many people, I met a lot of new students again - especially with Germans, Belgians and Dutch - and we had an amazing party we stayed till the end. 

When we were leaving I went to get my bike and I saw the best advertisement in my life. It was on the seat of my bike to protect it from the rain, and the company's logo and slogan was on it. I hope I can do something like this in Hungary as well so people will think what a good idea it was and not, oh just a leaflet, again.

Something happened at the party that proved me how different everything is here. I had to wait like 10 minutes - that is normal in Hungary - till I got my beer from the bar and when I got it the bartender said to me it was on the house because I had to wait a lot. I cannot even imagine anything like this in my country.

The morning after the party was about sleeping of course, then I went to the city centre with my flatmate and some other girls in the afternoon to eat something and drink an amazing coffee. There is no day without rain here - at least since I am here - so while we were drinking our tasty coffee it started to rain. We waited so long to stop the rain that eventually we came home at the biggest rain. On the way to home I felt the break of my bicycle is not working but since then I know with the help from 2700 kms that I was lame and my bike has no problem 😂

I had a relaxing day today that I needed after this intensive week, it happened so many things, so I watched one of my favourite series then I rode my bike alone and I saw again I moved to a gorgeous place. I did not make any photos during my bike trip today but I will during my next one. Until then here are some photos of the party:
