Első nap/First day

El sem hiszem, hogy már 24 órája itt vagyok, annyi minden történt az elmúlt egy napban. De menjünk vissza egy kicsit az időben több, mint 24 órával. Nem sokkal az előző bejegyzésem posztolása után csipogott a telefonom, valaki írt a Facebook csoportunkba, hogy a reptéren rekedt néhány órára késés miatt, várakozik-e valaki más. Néhány hónapja elképzelhetetlennek tartottam, hogy erre válaszoljak, vártam volna egyedül, de úgy indultam el otthonról, hogy ez a négy hónap más lesz, nyitott leszek és mindenhova elmegyek. Így hát - talán életemben először - válaszoltam, és találkoztam két vad idegen emberrel. Két belga srác volt, majd kicsit később csatlakozott még két belga, majd egy holland lány. Mondanom sem kell, nem bántam meg, az Erasmusra induló emberekre nagyon jellemző a nyitottság, így hamar megtaláltuk a közös hangot, és elütöttük együtt az időt. 

A repülőn viszont távol ültünk egymástól, mert bár 4 belga volt köztünk egyikük sem ismerte a másikat korábban. Így volt időm gondolkodni a másfél órás úton, és már akkor az motoszkált bennem, hogy végre jó helyen vagyok, jó döntést hoztam. Még meg sem érkeztem, de már fejlődtem, tettem egy számomra hatalmas lépést, ami rég nem érzett boldogsággal töltött el.

Amikor leszálltunk olyan volt, mint egy álom, mintha megérkeztem volna oda, ahol mindig karácsony van, a poggyász felvevő szalag mellett karácsonyi díszítés volt, a reptér bejáratának tetején rénszarvas díszek. A tutor diákok vártak ránk és elvittek a szállásra, olyan érzés volt, mintha hazaérnék, pedig az országban sem jártam előtte még soha. Igyekeztem minél előbb kipakolni, és aludni, bár ez nem ment könnyen, mert nagyon fáztam, és meglepő módon 4-kor már világos volt 😟

Reggel az egész erasmusos csoport elsétált az egyetemre, ami egy órás sétát jelentett, szóval elég messze van sajnos, ezért most igyekszem beszerezni egy biciklit, mert a tömegközlekedés pedig drága, és így lehet, hogy később láthattok majd videót arról, mekkorát esek a hóban biciklivel 😂

Délelőtt szokásos orientation weekes fejtágítás volt, próbáltam figyelni, de a reggeli kávé hiányában ez nehezen ment, főleg hogy párnázott(!!) székek voltak az előadóban. Persze az megmaradt, hogy van egy nappali a diákoknak, ahol van ingyen(!!) kávé, biliárd asztal, mikró stb.

Az ebéd is meglepően olcsó, 2,40 €, ma volt kenyér, sali, háromféle főétel, és annyit szedsz tulajdonképpen amennyit akarsz. Persze kell egy student card a kedvezményes árhoz, ezt viszont kaptunk a welcome packageben. Apropó, welcome package, kaptunk kesztyűt, sálat, tollat és telefontisztítót, mindezt az egyetem logójával.

Délután folytatódott a fejtágítás, majd elindultunk a központba beszerezni az elengedhetetlen biciklit, ez sajnos nekem meg nem sikerült, de nem adom fel.

Majd elmentem a korábban megvásárolt packagemért, ezt javaslom mindenkinek, korábbi Erasmus hallgatók eladják egyben a dolgaikat, amik jól jönnek az üres konyhába, vagy fürdőbe, általában párna, takaró is van köztük, ami lássuk be nem árt 😀

Most pedig itt ülök a szobámban egy hosszú nap után, sétáltam legalább 15 km-t, beleszerettem a városba, rengeteg csodás emberrel találkoztam és ez csak az első nap volt. Van itt még valaki, aki nem akar már holnap Erasmusra/Campus Mundira menni? 😍

I can't believe I am already here for 24 hours, it happens so much this day. But go back in time a little bit more.  Right after I posted my previous post my phone was ringing someone had just written in our Facebook group that they were stuck at the airport for hours because of delay, and were looking someone who was also waiting. I thought it was impossible to me to answer for it I would have been waiting alone but when I left my home I decided this four months were going to be different, I would be open-minded and go everywhere. So I answered him - maybe for the first time in my life - and met two stranger. There were two Belgian guys then two other Belgian joined us a little bit later, finally a Dutch girl also joined. I did not regret it of course people, going to Erasmus are really open-minded so we got well really soon. 

At the plane we sat on totally different seats, although there were four Belgian students they had not known each other before. So I had some time to think on the plane and I was sure I found my place again that I made a good decision. I had not even arrived but I improved I made a big step which made me really happy.

When we landed it was like a dream, it felt like I arrived to a place where there is always Christmas time. There were snowmen and reindeers at the baggage point, an reindeers at the entrance of the airport.

Our tutors were waiting for us and took us to our accommodation it felt like I got home even though I had never been in this city or even in the country. I tried to pack out everything and go to sleep as soon as I could. I couldn't sleep so well because of the cold and the fact the sun was up at 4 am 😞

The whole Erasmus group walked to the university in the morning that took app. an hour so it is pretty far therefore I am trying to get a bike really soon because the public transport is pretty expensive unfortunately. The good news is for you that you might see some videos of me how I fall in the snow with bike 😂

There were some orientation presentation in the morning I was trying to concentrate but without my morning coffee it was pretty hard especially that there were padded chairs in the room (which is quite surprising for a Hungarian). I was able to listening when they were speaking about the living room where is some free(!!) coffee, a billiard table a microwave and so on. 

The lunch was surprisingly cheap, it is only 2,40 € with student card (we got a replacement one in our welcome package until we get the real one, so we could use it today as well), and you can eat pretty much, there were three different main courses, some salad and bread as well.  I mentioned welcome package. We got some present, like gloves, a scarf, a pen, and a phone cleaner with the logo of the uni on them, so the gifts are pretty cool.

The orientation program continued in the afternoon as well. After it finished we went to buy a bike, I haven't find one but I do not give up. Finally I went to pick up my package I bought earlier in the summer. I recommend everyone to buy a package like this because apartments are almost totally empty, and these packages usually contain kitchen stuff, blanket pillow etc.

I am sitting in my room right know writing this post after a long day, I walked at least 15 kms, I felt in love with the city I met so many amazing people, and this was just the first day. Is there anyone who still does not want to go to Erasmus/Campus Mundi right now? 😍
